Non-Affiliation and Accreditation Status
AQX Cert is an independent certification body operating under the private accreditation of the International Evaluation and Certification Center (IECC). IMPORTANT: AQX Cert is NOT affiliated with, accredited by, or acting on behalf of the International Accreditation Forum (IAF), UKAS, ANAB, CNAS, or any other national government-linked accreditation body. Our certifications are private commercial tools, not government endorsements.
Usage Scope and Third-Party Acceptance
It is the sole responsibility of the applicant to determine if an AQX certificate is suitable for their specific needs. While widely accepted in B2B contracts and supply chain qualification, our certificates may NOT be suitable for government public tenders where IAF MLA signatories are explicitly mandated. AQX Cert makes no warranty of acceptance for any specific third-party use case.
Scope of Management System Certification
For ISO management system standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 27001), AQX Cert provides certification services based on documented evidence of conformity. These certificates are independently supervised by the International Evaluation and Certification Center (IECC) and are valid for three years, subject to maintaining compliance.
Scope of Assessment, Verification, and Rating Services
In addition to management system certifications, AQX Cert offers a range of assessment, verification, rating, and alignment services for non-certifiable guidelines, market-based frameworks, and specific claims. It is important to understand the distinction: - Verification & Validation (e.g., ISO 14068-1 Carbon Neutrality): These services provide a formal statement confirming that a specific claim or report is accurate and conforms to the requirements of a specific standard. The output is a Verification Statement, not a Certificate of Conformity. - Assessment & Rating (e.g., ESG Rating): These services provide an independent, third-party evaluation of an organization's performance against a specific framework or set of criteria. The output is typically a detailed report and a rating, not a pass/fail certificate. - Compliance & Alignment (e.g., Net Zero, SDGs): These services provide an attestation that an organization's strategy, commitments, or activities are aligned with the principles of a global goal or market concept. They are not an endorsement by the originating body (e.g., the United Nations) but an independent verification of alignment. The output is a Certificate of Alignment or Statement of Compliance. The acceptance and use of these statements, reports, and certificates are determined by market practice and the requirements of stakeholders (e.g., investors, customers, supply chain partners).
Independence & Recognition
IECC is an independent, non-governmental private accreditation system. AQX Cert certificates operate within this private ecosystem and are not equivalent to endorsement by the IAF or any government authority.
Verification & Delivery Evidence
Once issued, certificates are made available for download/email delivery and may be verified online via the Verify page. Download records, email delivery status, and verification access logs may serve as evidence of fulfillment and delivery.
No Warranty of Third-Party Acceptance
Because acceptance criteria vary, AQX Cert does not warrant any specific third-party recognition or fitness for a particular purpose. You should confirm applicability with the intended relying party before use.
